Mango Tanghulu Recipe

Mango tanghulu is a super easy and quick dessert that you can prepare at home.

  • 1 Ripe and firm mango
  • 1 Dice mango cubes
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup  Honey
  • 1 tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 cup Water
  1. Cut mangoes into dice or cubes

  2. Arrange cubes into the skewer

  3. Add 4-5 cubes per skewer

  4. Pour water, sugar, and honey into a saucepan. Keep the flme medium. Cook until sugar dissolves

  5. Turn high heat, simmer the mixture until bubble, and turn into a golden color caramel

  6. Now it’s time to insert a candy thermometer to check the right temperature for candy making. Put until temperature reaches to 300F

Meanwhile, Set mango cubes on a skewer. Add 4-5mango cubes to each skewer

  1. Quickly dip dice mangoes (on skewers) in the ready candy coating and gently drip off any excess

  2. Place on a lined baking silicone baking mat and let it harden
