- Sona masoori rice 2 and 1/2 cups
- Water 4 and 1/2 cups
- Salt 1 and 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil 2 tablespoon.

- Wash masoori rice well. Rinse until the water clears.
- Pour water in the instant pot.
- Add rice, salt, and oil. Oil helps to make fine texture rice. The rice does not stick after cooking.
- Close the instant pot lid and cover it tightly.
- Make sure to turn on the knob to sealing mode.
- Then press pressure, cook, and cook for 5 minutes at high pressure.
- It takes five minutes for an instant pot to build pressure.
- Afterward, when your instant pot beeps, meaning sounds loud. It is the right time to start cooking rice at high pressure. Now let the instant pot release pressure naturally.
- It takes 12-15 minutes usually.
